What’s New?

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek ushers in this model’s third generation with a bang. Outside, all the sheet metal is new, the grille is bigger and boasts a new “textured hexagon” design, and black air intakes are prominent in the front corners. Moreover, the chassis of this new Subaru SUV has been stiffened for increased safety, while the suspension is retuned for enhanced ride quality.

In the cabin, the front seats have more cushion and bolstering, and all trims now come standard with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. Last but not least, the off-road-oriented Wilderness trim joins the Subaru Crosstrek lineup for the first time.

Performance

With the addition of the Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness, this year’s lineup stands at five trims. The entry-level trims feature a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that achieves 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque, while the mid- and high-end trims upgrade to a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. Both engines pair with AWD and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Safety

All trims come standard Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, which includes next-gen features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-departure mitigation, and forward collision warning.
